BLOISE DESIGN
OVERVIEW

Emma Chacon is the owner of her own interior design company called Bloise Design. The companies purpose it create environments that promote good mental and physical health . The company focuses on moving towards a wholistic approach to design by fostering connections.

PROBLEM

Emma was looking for a logo as she develops her branding for her website and social media that will represent the services she offers, but also her heritage and history. Originally from Colombia and now residing in Tennessee, she wanted a brand that would connect art, culture, and history all in one. She also has many side businesses including a paper store and Airbnb's in Colombia that she wanted to incorporate in her branding. She loved the idea of using the almond tree and flowers in her design because they represent her childhood at her grandmother's home in Colombia.

SOLUTION

The brand solution I created includes warm, rich neutral colors with one bright, vibrant deep red as the main color. This helps bring the elements of nature, calming, and organic material with a pop of vibrancy and culture. We experimented with many iterations of the almond tree as her logo and finally landed on a single, textured leaf for her main logo. The leaf has an almost natural fiber texture to represent some of the materials she would use in her interior design business.
